Overview
Built an enterprise-grade Windows 11 deployment lab entirely in Microsoft Azure using a nested Hyper-V environment. Covers zero-touch provisioning from Azure VM setup through Intune enrollment and Autopilot OOBE, ending with a fully Entra ID–joined device and Windows Hello PIN login.
Highlights
- Deployed a Windows Server 2022 VM in Azure and enabled nested virtualization
- Created a Gen 2 Windows 11 VM with static IP + NAT for internet access
- Configured Intune Autopilot deployment profile and uploaded hardware hash
- Resolved real-world blockers: Secure Boot vs. ISO boot, APIPA addressing, Intune license scoping, device visibility
